This is the LM311 Voltage Comparator DIP Design Kit #1. It includes the very popular LM311 Single, Precision Voltage Comparator in a 8-pin DIP package. The LM311 operates with a single power supply over a wide range of voltages and has a very low offset voltage of 2 millivolts. It can be used with Single or Dual power supplies from 2v to 36v. The LM311 has open-collector outputs which allow you to drive a relay directly or interface to TTL and CMOS circuits. The low output saturation voltage is compatible with TTL, MOS, and CMOS ICs.

Included in this kit are General-Purpose NPN & PNP Transistors, 1/4 Watt Carbon-Film Resistor, Ceramic & Aluminum & Tantalum Capacitors, Trimpots, LEDs, Pushbutton Switches, Signal & Zener & Power Diodes, Electret Microphones, a miniature Speaker, and some Electronic Hardware for your I/O connections. To further help with your circuit development, you also get a 162 plated-thru hole PCB and some IC sockets. This PCB has 4 mounting holes, is 1.1" x 2.0", and is double-sided.
