The S3 BareBone is, as the name implies, is a stripped down version of a development board. There is only the required circuitry to enable the board to power up, although I did add a power LED.

I needed a board that exposed all the pins of the ESP32-S3 without anything getting in the way. This way I knew what ever design I came up with by using this board, there wasn't have any influence from anything on the board itself.

This board has the 8MB version of the ESP32-S3 for that extra program space.

Arduino IDE and PlatformIO

For the board type use the ESP32S3 Dev Module. By default the board comes with the standard blink sketch uploaded.

MicroPython

The board can be shipped with MicroPython installed, select the option above, or you can install it yourself. Please visit the MicroPython page for installation details
