This is an optical audio I/O board for the Raspberry Pi. It uses a WM8804 transceiver chip and has both a transmitter and receiver port for optical S/PDIF (TOSLINK) audio. With just a single extra line in your Raspberry Pi config.txt file, you get the ability to send or receive digital audio to or from your Pi.
