What is it?

A wearable pin of Snowy Owl with blinking eyes.

One Snowy Owl (44.6 x 39.3 mm) purple or white
Version 1: ENIG gold finish (purple) or HASL Lead Free silver finish (white)
Version 2: ENIG gold finish (purple) or ENIG gold finish (white) with a fast/slow switch
CR2032 powered (battery is NOT included)
Butterfly clutch pin on the back

This is the second in the lines of owl-shaped design. It's an implementation of ring oscillator with inverter gates. The selection of chip is not the usual hex inverter like 74HC04 or CD4049 but a dual-inverter NL27WZ04 in the package of SOT-363. So there is no unused gates left.

There are two different soldermask colors of SnowyOwl.

purple with gold feather lining (v2)
white with gold feather lining (v2)

Note 1 : The package of SOT-363 may be challenging for beginners.

Note 2 : CR2032 battery is not included as the Post Office does not allow it.

Why did you make it?

Owl is one of my favorite birds. A dual-inverter NL27WZ04 is a different way to implement the ring oscillator.

What makes it special?

The use of a dual-inverter NL27WZ04 plus the snowy owl design makes it unique.
