What is it?

It's an adorable 5V 500mA buck converter! With an easy to use 3 pin design, this buck converter is ready to drop into your next project! Whether using a breadboard or perma-proto, you can get reliable and efficient 5V power supply.

Why did you make it?

Like the 3.3V buck regulator, this was designed for projects where I didn't want more than 500mA of current. It was a great solution as it provided an efficient way to step down from up to 17V, all the way to 5V.

What makes it special?

It's small and purple! It also boasts great low power features like a super low quiescent current. As low as 17uA! It has battery sipping love for your next project.
