It uses the Motorola 68B21 PIA chip, or its 65xx equivalent 6521 (available from the WDC as W65C21).
It allows connecting more and more peripherals to your OMEN computer (Alpha, Bravo, Kilo). Designed primary for the Kilo, but usable not only for it.
PIA board is great for connecting I2C or SPI devices to the old computers because it can control each pin independently as an output or input. One port has a pull-up internal resistors. Compatible with CMOS and TTL.
