This small board takes up to 35V DC and converts it into 5V DC power. Power module can be used in many areas or your projects such as powering an MCU or a board like raspberry Pi, 5V Addressable leds, ledbars etc. Module is making use of Ti TPS5430 chip, for more details check out the linked datasheet.

I designed this small DC DC converter because I needed something solid for 2A with enable pin exposed for my own led bar project and so far they work without any issues.

Enable pin is optional and can be attached to an MCU to control the converter. 3.3V or 5V logic is excellent for driving the enable pin just make sure have 10-20K resistor between the GPIO pin and the enable pin. Otherwise if enable pin left unconnected, it will start to convert as soon as there's a voltage on the input side.

There are huge pads on the top for easy soldering and in case markings are not clear there are extra markings just under them behind the PCB.

Voltage is set using resistor divider network and by changing R1 resistor, voltage can further be adjusted for specific voltage needs.
