I designed this easy to Install lighting kit suitable for both DIY people and for those who doesn't want to solder or crimp anything. Housing is designed specifically for Prusa MINI printer but the KIT version can be adapted to any printer

Lighting kit uses 5V light bars, they are quite bright and more than what you need for your MINI+. 2 light bars require around 1A of current at 5V but running them at this voltage gets them a bit warm so I reduced the voltage to around 4.5V and they are running cool to the touch. Running them cool allows us to use PLA with absolutely 0 sagging and since they are 5V leds there's no flickering. In order to provide the best power I designed my own 5V 3A DC DC converter and it sits right inside the lighting housing. We are feeding 24V from the On/Off of switch of the printer and the lighting system has its own On/Off switch at the top so it can be turned on even when your printer is shut down.

This is the item for DIYers. You need to solder, crimp, heatshrink etc all you can think of. From silicone cables to heat shrinks, nuts and bolts etc.. everything except the 3D printed parts will be provided. You can refer to the product images. You will receive the .stl files so you can print the plastic parts.

This version comes almost ready to go. All the work required will be done by me + you will receive the 3d printed parts. You can refer to the product images to see what you will receive. But basically need to snap the arms to the main body, use a screw driver to fix it on top of the printer and insert the connectors to their places on the buddy board. Easy as that :)
