I designed this PCB to feed a proper 3A to a raspberry pi zero 2W and additional DC DC converter to power auxiliary devices or leds etc, I made It for my prusa mini 3d printer's Octo Pi but its use case is not limited to it.

You can feed the whole board with a voltage up to 28V power supply from the terminal. Voltage will be distributed to both DC DC converters.

Option #1 PCB w/ headers

This option includes populated PCB with soldered pin headers and a male pin header for the raspberry Pi. You will also receive all the necessary .stl files so you can print the required parts. To complete the build you will need to provide your own parts which are mentioned and listed down below in the option 2.

Option #2 Kit w/o 3d prints

This option includes populated PCB with soldered pin headers, all the necessary parts to complete the build except the 3d printed parts. You will receive the .stl files to complete the build.

To clarify the parts list, you will receive:

1- 3x 3030 M3 T-Nuts

2- 3x 12mm M3 bolts (button or socket head)

3- 4x M2.5 nuts

4- 4x 18mm M2.5 bolts (button or socket head)

5- 4x M2 nuts

6- 4x 10mm M2 bolts (countersunk head)

7- 3x 16mm Buttons with illumination

8- 3x 3pin JST PH male connector

9- 4x M3 ring terminal

10- 2x 4.8mm female spade terminal

11- USB male connector

12- 23cm 16awg(at least) silicone cable

13- 22cm 16awg silicone cable

14- 25cm 24awg or thicker silicone cable

15- 17cm usb cable

16- 1 meter 30awg silicone cable

17- different size of heat shrinks

All of the cables will be crimped, insulated ready to hook up by me so you won't have to do all that work. I will also solder and prepare the USB cable because its a very delicate process.

Option #3 Kit w/ 3d prints

This option includes everything from the option 2 and 3d printed parts. Please message me your preferred colors after the purchase.

Option #4 Kit + Lighting w/ 3d prints

This option includes everything from option 3 and complete light setup with 3d printed parts included

Specifications and instructions:

• First DC DC converter is enabled by default and it will work as soon as there's a voltage on the input side.
• Second converter by default is configured to be controlled by raspberry pi with a GPIO 24 but it can be configured to always have power like the first converter.
• First converter feeds a 5V 3A to the raspberry pi but we can change the output voltage of the second converter. By default it is configured for 5V but with couple of components replacement it can be set to 12V or any other voltage.
• 2 individual power leds to tell you if theres a voltage on the output side of the converters
• WS2812 high speed logic level shifter baked into the second converter. Outputs from a 3pin jst ph connector using data pin GPIO 10.
• Separate output pads for the second converter marked with GND and 5V out.
• 5V fan output using a 2pin jst ph connector, this output is connected to the first converter so it is always on.
• On board 16A Omron relay controlled by GPIO 23. This relay controls the main input of the board. When it is enabled it makes a connection between the 24V Live and N.O. pins on the terminal. This allows you to control power of another device with the same input that you have on this board. In my use case Im controlling the power of my 3D printer.

Buttons and their configuration:

• There are 3 configurable button output marked with 1,2,3 on the back side and light sw, printer, RB pi on the front.
• They all have 3 pin jst ph output: GND,GPIO,Power pin for the led illumination.
• Button number 1 is GPIO 3 and its power for illumination comes from a PNP transistor which is controlled by GPIO 24(2.converter enable pin). Meaning if there's no power output on the second converter this led will light up and when there is power led will turn off. It can also be configured to exact opposite scenario to light up when theres power etc, for that you just need to move one resistor to another place.
• Button number 2 is GPIO 4 and its power for illumination is connected to N.O. side of the power terminal. Meaning that if the Relay is active then the led of the button will have power too.
• Button number 3 is GPIO 27 and its power for illumination is connected to GPIO 22. You can configure it to do whatever you need from the raspberry pi.
