* UPDATE I just updated the design with a tiny on off slider switch on the side. It allows to turn on and off the board at will, without disconnecting the VIN side. So you can keep you cables attached and turn it on and off whenever you like. You can check out the picture with the on off sw to see what it looks like. *** This small board takes up to 100V DC and converts it into 5V or 12V DC power. Power module can be used in many areas or your projects such as powering an MCU or a board like raspberry Pi, 5V Addressable leds, ledbars etc.

I designed this small DC DC converter because there not many alternatives with relatively high input voltage in a small package. Considering applications in electric transportation, like in an e-bike a space can be a deciding factor.

Converter starts working as soon as there is power on the "IN" side. You need to take care before giving power and make sure your connections are right. 'VIN' 'GND' 'VOUT' pads are clearly marked on both sides of the pcb. I can pre set the voltage to 5V or 12V but if you decide to change it later on, you can do so by changing one resistor on the pcb.
