The Orkwerx Minisupply kit originated because I've been working on lots of 3.3V projects, but only have AC-to-DC adapters in 5V and higher. It's a 3.3V regulator and assorted circuitry on a small, breadboard-friendly PCB; you can plug in a DC source of anywhere from 5V to 12V into the standard 2.1mm power jack, and you'll get a nice clean 3.3V on the power rails of your breadboard!
The kit includes a lovely custom PCB, 3.3V voltage regulator, two capacitors, status LED and resistor, power jack, diode, and a 2x3 header to plug it all into a breadboard stably.
Assembly instructions are coming soon, but it's really, really simple if you have a little through-hole soldering experience: everything's clearly marked on the PCB. Just take care because most of the parts are polarized!
