Update: A totally revamped version of this kit is coming soon!

This shield makes it easy to program DIP ATTiny85/45/25 chips (and their low-power variants) using the Arduino IDE! All you need is an Atmega328P-based Arduino (like the Arduino Uno).

It comes as a kit, so some (very easy) soldering is required.

Details

We've tested the shield successfully with the following Arduinos and compatibles:

- Arduino Uno R3

- Adafruit Menta.

- Evil Mad Science Diavolino

- Sparkfun Arduino Pro

- Sparkfun Redboard

It's NOT compatible with the Arduino Due (the ArduinoISP sketch is written for AVR controllers, and the Due uses an ARM chip). It also won't work with Arduinos with nonstandard layouts (only because it won't fit!). It might work with the Arduino Mega, but we don't have one to test with, so no promises!
