This kit will let you build a MIDI-over-USB controller with up to 8 knobs that you can use in any DAW or similar software. It's the same electronics I use inside the Oddment controllers, just without the fancy case. The kit requires surface mount soldering but isn't particularly complicated so it would be a good introduction to SMD and reflow if you have some experience with regular soldering and want to learn about surface mount.

The kit includes:

• 1 RP Pico pre-flashed with firmware
• 1 MCP3008 analog to digital converter
• 1 PCB
• 1-8 potentiometers with basic oak knobs
• 1 dip switch
• some capacitors
• wiring to connect the knobs to the board
• 1 usb cable

The kit does not include a case so you must supply your own enclosure.

Linux, Mac and Windows are all supported. The controller is a plug in play device and should work on any system without additional drivers or configuration.
