Each fully-differential input channel can handle microphone or line inputs.
The fully-differential outputs can drive low impedance devices such as headphones or 600 ohm balanced lines.
This board stacks to 16 inputs and 16 outputs with the supplied Teensy Audio drivers.
This design supersedes the previous CS42448-based designs is the chip has been notified as end of life. It is the only known option for multi-channel Teensy audio.
Boards
Main Board
The main board contains just the core processing elements, as there are companion Wing boards with coupling capacitors and either TRS, XLR or Combo XLR connectors.
The main board is sold as a kit - all electronic components are mounted, and 2 x 14 pin long female headers (Teensy), 4 x 12-way IDC connectors and 1 x 10-way IDC header are supplied loose.
Neither a Teensy microcontroller or the optional -5V supply components (rear of board) are included.
Wing boards for input and output connections
Wing boards are sold bare, plus the IDC connector which is not mounted.
Electronic components and TRS or XLR connectors are not included.
