Good quality product, awful shipping, no communication :(

The product is good, works as advertised, quality stuff. No problems there. However, shipping is terrible.
My first order came within two weeks from Germany (DHL mind you) to Latvia. Kinda long for DHL, but ok.
My second order - did not come at all. It's been a month now since shipment.
Tried to write to the seller two times - no response.
Shipment with DHL should take at most 4-5 days within Europe, not a month.
I hope the seller sees this, so we can sort it out.

The board is well done and works just fine, easy to fit to my 3D printer. Using SKR V1.4Turbo on my Voron V0.1.

Netter Kontakt und Topp Ware!!!!!

Nach freundlichem hin und her Geschreibe und Versand per UPS, kam auch die heiß erwartete Platine bei mir im Briefkasten an.
Kommunikation ist und war sehr gut. Die Ware ( SKR 1.4 RRF + ESP32 ) ist Topp.

Excellent. "Does exactly what it says on the tin"

A good bit of kit that has proved reliable in use.
I bought this after reading a few reviews and was not disappointed. The board is a neat design, came well packaged and undamaged. Despatch was fast but delivery was a bit slow but that is due to the postal system, Christmas, New Year, Covid19, and Brexit. I'd pay for the tracking option next time :-)
I'm new to the SKR/RRF setup and after a couple of false starts, caused by my inability to follow the good instructions correctly, the adapter works flawlessly.
I am planning to build another machine and will be ordering another adapter in the future.
Highly recommended.
I gave three stars for communication only because there wasn't any (no need) and there isn't a N/A option. Reading other reviews it sounds good.

great little unit

Bought this to turn my skr v1.3 with TMC 2209 drivers into a duet WiFi clone running reprap. It took some configuring to get it to work but the documtation available is great, you only need to have your brain switched on to make it come together. I had some issues with getting sensorless homing to work but when I realised the example pin numbers given were for the skr v1.4 I made a quick change and it all started working fine.

Plug and Play!

Prepared my 1.4T for RepRap from Duet. Installed this Wifi-Adapertboard and could directly connect to the Duet Webinterface.

Shipping was a little bit long 1 1/5 week inside Germany but overall a great Product.

I'm sure it's a good product but I haven't received it.

Unfortunately I never received the product after ~3 months of waiting. Pete did say he sent me another one but after a month it's still no where to be seen. I can't put all the blame on Pete. It's possible that both shipments got lost by Deutsche Post / Canada Post, but if that's true then it's a pretty high chance that that you may never receive the product you paid for even if it's not Pete's fault. If you pay for something you expect to receive the product.

Absolutely great

Package arived about 3 days after ordering, well packed in bubble wrap and protective foam taped around it.
Ordered the pre-flashed cable version, it doesnt include the cables but you can buy them easily or use the tft exp cables as i did.
Plug and play as described, it fired up without a hitch, if you want RRF on an SKR then get this now.

Absolutely amazing

Works very well and can't fault it at all. He's very helpful if you have any problems or questions about it. I made my own board which didn't work properly and he tried to help me fix it, but unfortunately couldn't. Brought this and worked first time. Feels really good quality, and it was very fast shipping.

All perfect

The preflashed board arrived well packed. It was a simple plug and play installation. Just enabling the wifi module and entering the wifi-credentials. That's it!

SBC and ESP module

I love both it worked great i had some issue with the ESP losing packets but with SBC is perfect , with ESP you have to put it far from the power supply and close to the wifi , but in general both are great

Product professionnaly made, with good support.

Product is made professionally. It facilitates converting amazing cheap motherboard for 3D printers to premium product. Author has good website with clear instructions to use it. He also help online with many ppl from discord community. All problems come only form Rep Rap Firmware, not from product itself. Only flaw is delivery time but it is covid related.

Great Board...Great Support

Like others have said here... This board works! No flashing, it's all setup, tested, and ready to go! I'm almost tempted to call it plug and play! On the off chance you have a problem Pete will be right there for you on Discord. Even if it's firmware or configuration problems Pete has you covered. You not gonna get that from the "Big Tree" guys! Pete gives you support, they give you a USB cable.

Worth every penny!

This board just works! simple as that, install it and 3 gcode lines later and i was connected! simple as that. 👍

Great product

Took a little bit longer for an untracked DP delivery within Europe, probably due to pandemic. Connected exp1 & 2 cables to SKR 1.4 Turbo, configured WiFi using SD Card macro and everything worked in a first try. Great product and the board finally looks clean now, thanks for that Peter :) I'll order RPi version also.

Super Produkt und sehr freundlicher Verkäufer

Beste und sauberste Lösung

Ich hab das Board zum direkten einstecken ins SKR Board ohne Kabel und wie ich finde ist das die schnellste, sauberste und einfachste Lösung.

Einfach auf der Homepage ( https://rosspeter.org/ ) die passende ZIP Datei runterladen auf SD Card entpacken alles einstecken und einschalten, danach muss nur noch die Firmware angepasst werden und es läuft.

So easy to use and to add WiFi to the LPC port of RRF3

At first I was a bit nervous of no tracking and Deutsche Post taking over a week to send locally from Berlin to Berlin, but it eventually arrived in the post box. Opening the packet, there was just the board as specced. A little bit of fiddling to find the required documentation and settings and boom! It worked out the box. Would be great to offer a small printout with board.txt settings and a link to discord and other product docs in the envelope.
I was so impressed with the device I ordered a second!

Fantastic work

As an electrical engineer I can really appreciate the work put into this. The board was simple and effortless to get working in my skr 1.3 and didn't require me to kludge anything together. Communication is well above and beyond and thank you for that! Great job!

nice plug and play product

I had some difficulties because the exp1 and exp2 cablew were longer than should...so with the shorter ones everything is working perfect

Works like a charm, high quality and fast delivery

The board works as intended and is plug-and-play. It is professionally made and looks great.

I had trouble initializing it and the seller helped me debugging the problem: my cables were too long and not shielded and the signals got corrupted. There is both a very up-to-date wiki for the setup and initial configuration as well as an active discord server.

Have bought the latest version (to be plugged directly onboard to exp1 and exp2, no extra cables required !)
Very fast deliverance, came in completely assembled and allready programmed, ready to be plugged in.
Was well packed, pcb has a good quality.
Just plug it in and play, it works great.

RepRap firmware for the masses

Lately I was torn between getting a SKR 1.3 or a Duet controller board for a new printer project. I decided to use the former because of familiarity and my budget, although I always wanted to try RepRep firmware.

Now color me happy, when I stumbled over this adapter board that let’s me dip my toes into RepRepFirmware water with an SKR! Since the adapter board comes pre-flashed, I just had to follow a few steps in the guide Pete provided, used the SKR 1.3 zip containing the newest firmware release for WiFI and the base configs. A few minutes later and there it was!

I still have to tweak a lot config-wise and am early in the process of getting the hang of RRF, but so far so good!

Honestly, this add-on is so inexpensive, you can't go wrong.
