luminaria is an electronic luminary flame animated by the ATtiny25 Microcontroller. This work of electronic art is as simple and robust as it is beautiful. The LED illumination is bright enough to work well in moderate artificial light. Powered by three easy-to-find AA cells, it's not only economical to operate but will run continuously for days on a fresh set of alkaline batteries (we've had a prototype go for thirteen days straight).

luminaria comes as an easy to assemble kit complete with a pre-programmed ATtiny25 microcontroller IC programmed using Arduino IDE. You'll get all the parts you need to complete luminaria, including a small luminary bag to put your finished work in! luminaria was designed and is assembled as a kit in Gilbert AZ.
