Tiny RGB SMT is 5 surface mount RGB LEDs and an ATtiny85 that generate hypnotic swirls of color. The Tiny RGB SMT is a kit for people who want to try out soldering surface mount components and end up with a functional product when they're done. There are only 14 parts and the pads are well sized for surface mount work. Whether you use it as a nightlight or simply to provide color in an area, the possibilities are endless!
Source is available that compiles in the Arduino environment, you simply need an ISP programmer to flash new code to the ATtiny chip.
You will need:
Soldering iron
Tweezers
Magnification
3 AA batteries
I will include a bobbin with a yard or two of 0.38mm 63/37 no-clean rosin solder, because having the right solder goes a long way to making SMD easy to work with.
