What is it?

It is a small repeating buzzer meant to be annoying and as an office prank. Very similar to the annoyatron but more stripped down (from what I understand).

Two 555 timers are used to create the repeating buzzing sound. The first of the buzzers has a long delay built so that it waits about 8 minutes before sending voltage to its output. The second buzzer's power is connected to the first buzzer's output and it has a very short period and its output is connected to a piezo buzzer that creates the buzzing sound. The buzzing sound lasts for approximately 1s.

Since it is small it can be hidden in many places and it has about a 1 month battery life allowing you to potentially annoy friends for a very long time.

Why did you make it?

I made it primarily to prank a certain co-worker and to learn more about how 555 timers work.

One CR2032 battery will last over 1 month, so it will annoy your victims for a long time, and it was made with my love.
