What is it?

A 3x3 display for up to 9 minibadges. Powered with USB-C, and featuring the same adjustable clock module as the 2024 SAINTCON 10x10 grid. It features a laser-cut acrylic backing and M2 screws to hold it all together.

A quick warning note: The front reflective pads are a ground plane. Please ensure that no Minibadge components are going to short out against it.

Why did you make it?

To move beyond just making minibadges. I wanted to design a more complicated circuit and I wanted to include a clock module without programming anything. Compukidmike graciously allowed me to take a peek at the new 2024 SAINTCON 10x10 grid that used a program-free chip.

What makes it special?

It is only as special as minibadges are to you. However, I slaved away over a hot EDA for hours crafting this thing with love, and I learned lots. That makes it special to me :)
