Fully Programmable (temperatures 150-450C, preset temperatures, power limitation to use various power supplies), also serial interface and source code available.
Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) functionality
Runs on standard external 12V power adapter (voltage range 7-24V), with also duty cycle limitation (allows to use smaller power supplies)
Can run also on batteries (7-24V) with Under Voltage Lock Out (perfect for Lipo batteries!

NOTEs:

Case color (3d print) and buttons color might be different than in the current picture depending on the stock. The mini-jack cable provided is suitable for small SMD work (light and flexible). For heavy SMD work, I recommend making a mini-jack extension cable with thick copper wires (and it will give also more power :D). Please note that This is just a prototype, it is sold "AS IS" without any warranty if you broke this or for any damage or injury caused by this product! All prototypes are individually tested, if there are some problems with the prototype contact me within 30 days you are entitled to a refund/new item.

Very good soldering station!

A while back I purchased the Soldering Station RT1 and I am absolutely blown away by its capabilities and features. This soldering station is without a doubt one of the best investments I have made for my electronics hobby.

A great solder station for a very cheap price!

A really nice and compact soldering station and not forget a very cheap one !
Works perfect and you can even add Weller tweezers!
Perfect communication with the developer it is really helpfully !

I fully recommend it!

Super Weller soldering station

Weller soldering station with all the necessary functions. The software is always being developed further and new functions are always being added. Update is very easy to install on the device. The manufacturer Riccardo is very friendly and courteous. All in all a super product.

Excellent Station for driving RT tips

Before I used RT soldering pen, which is great if you need only one tip. But now with RT1 I can have two different tips always available to use. Interface to control temperatures is easy and very easy to use.

Not to mention best thing, you get great support from Riccardo. Thanks!

I am very pleased with this soldering station. Easy to use.

This soldering station is good substitute for the much pricier soldering stations. It is quite compact and easy to use. User interface is good and the adjustments to soldering values (temperatures) can be adjusted directly from the encoder knob. I am happy with the manual (can be downloaded) and the software/firmware made available through github. I have tested it with the micro soldering tip to solder pin-headers to the raspberry zero PCB. The final result was very good and the small soldering tip enabled to reach tight spaces.

An amazing soldering station with incredible versatility

The station is just awesome! I have been using Weller WSM1 stations for the past few years and wanted something similar without paying the Weller premium.
I initially wanted to buy the RT soldering pen, but it was out of stock. Thankfully I discovered this product and I am very happy that I did.
The station is well designed and works as intended. I tried 3 different soldering tips and it seems to be performing as advertised.
The station arrived quickly and it was well packaged to avoid any damage in transit.
I will be trying out different 3.5mm cables, as the one included can be improved upon in terms of flexibility and wire gauge. I plan on printing a "handle" portion to fit over the 3.5mm socket, similarly to Weller WXPP handle. EDIT- actually realized that the seller already has some designs in the gitlab repo.

Thank you for designing this product and I recommend this to anyone willing to up their soldering game- having the ability to rework individual 0.4mm pitch IC legs with a 0.2mm chisel tip under a stereo microscope makes you feel like you have some sort of soldering superpowers. Great job, Riccardo!

Best Weller Tips Compatible Soldering Station !!!!

Best soldering station ever!
Works perfectly with weller tip's (even tweezers!), using it everyday in my repair shop to fix iphones, ipads, macbook motherboards.
Perfect communication with the developer, told him my feedback and he updated the firmware 1week after with some fixes/advices for professional use.
Will buy a second one for my repair shop.

Don't hesitate to buy it, it is a must have! :)

Excellent controller for Weller RT tips!

Purchased after seeing it written up on Hack-a-Day as I needed a microsoldering solution and the Weller RT nano tips are the perfect size. Riccardo mailed the package out quickly and provided tracking info the same day. The package was well-padded and everything arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the 3D-printed case is excellent. The controller works exactly as I'd expect and I'm very happy with it. Highly recommended.

Great Weller tip soldering station

This is a great soldering station for Weller soldering tips. I'm using an RTP 001 and a RTU 008 tip. Both work very well and I will use this as my standard soldering station going forward.
Communication is excellent and there is detailed documentation on GitHub. I also got an update via email about a recent firmware update.

Best weller RT soldering station I've ever had.

Amazing design, absolutely fantastic soldering station.
The station's user interface is simple and intuitive. It heats RT tips to set-point temperature in seconds. Best weller RT soldering station I've ever had.

Features that set it apart:

- Double Channel: two independent channels
- Rotative encoder (yeah, I love it as it gives you the temperature control you need to work on circuit boards that may have degraded over time)
- Wide voltage input range and duty cycle limitation: you can use a smaller power supply or the first power supply you find on your desk :-)
- Micro USB for firmware update/debug
