Notes:

• Because there is no USB connection available at the EXT port, only charging is supported. The controller can not be used in wired mode using this adapter.
• The adapter covers the 3.5mm AUX jack on the controller. It is not possible to connect headphones while using this adapter.

Installation instructions

• Thoroughly clean the area around the EXT port with isopropyl alcohol. This makes sure the adhesive sticks well.
• Orient the adapter so that the part with gold contacts (this part inserts into EXT port) is left of centre when looking from above. If unsure, just try plugging it in - it will only fit one way.
• Remove the liner from the adhesive strips. You can skip this step to test out the adapter and get a feel for inserting it properly before sticking it down. If the PCB pops out of the black housing, just pop it back in - it fits only one way.
• Align the adapter with the controllers EXT port and slide it in. Make sure the adapter is going in straight and not at an angle. You should feel slight resistance.
• When inserted fully (no gap between the controller and the adapter), press firmly. This helps the adhesive to stick properly. Try to avoid pulling on the adapter for the first 24 hours for optimal stickage :)
• Enjoy your brand-new Type-C port!

If you wish to remove the adapter, slowly break the adhesive at the edges with a thin plastic spudger. Make sure not to bend the adapter too much. Some hairdryer heat and/or Isopropyl alcohol could help loosen the adhesive. Replace the adhesive strips with 3M 9448A or similar.
