What is it?

This is a programmer for ESP based boards, it is designed around the standard set by Jon Oxer which allows you to offload a lot of the hardware required for programming to a dedicated board saving costs and space on board designs.

Why did you make it?

A lot of boards I design do not need to be regularly programmed and it is almost a one off affair. I do however need a reliable way to program and still check serial output etc. By putting the six pin header on your board or using dupont cables you can program up an ESP board.

What makes it special?

The board can perform the special steps required to automatically program the ESP chip without the need to mess around trying to pull GPIO0 low manually during boot. This also works when programming ESP01 boards by plugging them into the onboard header.

Products are normally shipped next working day, however during busy periods this may extend slightly. Due to Covid still causing issues shipping can take upto 6 to 8 weeks so please bear that in mind before chasing up where your package is. It should be far quicker but please keep this in mind.

Tracked or Tracked & Signed options are available to most locations. This may not get your kit to you any quicker, but it adds peace of mind that you know where it has got to especially due to Covid delays.
