Two independent slew limiters for glide or portamento effects and other applications where control voltages need to be integrated at a rate set by the user.

SLEW has a small number of surface mount parts including a single SOIC package. So if you are new to surface mount, it is a great way to get started.

This video is a great introduction to SMD hand soldering.

good experience

This slew module was the first Eurorack DIY project of mine that required soldering SMD components. I was a little intimidated tbh, but the detailed instructions were easy to follow and I did my best to solder the SMD components with a fine tip soldering iron. However, when I powered on the module, it did not function as expected. John from PM foundations was extremely communicative and helpful in troubleshooting the module over email, and with his help, we determined that I had managed to incorrectly solder a few of the components (including one of the ICs). As SMD ICs are difficult to replace, and I don't have much experience in replacing them, John offered to fix the module and send it back to me. I sent the module to him and received it back in perfect working order about 1 week later. Can't thank him enough. The support John provides re: PM foundations modules is top-notch, and he goes the extra mile to help work through issues and ensure your DIY build is a success. I bought more PMF modules because of the good experience.

Easy and quick build, great intro to SMD soldering.

Built two of these, gives me four slew generators. It's a combination of through-hole and surface mount parts so it's a great practice module. SMD is not as difficult as people seem to think, and I use a standard soldering station and have no issues, even with the IC.
