Temperature controller in a USB dongle style, black ABS enclosure. USB powered. Incorporates MAX6675 thermocouple to digital converter. Temperature range 0C - 250C. Accuracy within +2.5C. Measurement resolution 0.25C. Screw terminals for connecting a thermocouple type K and solid state relay ( SSR ). Dimensions 90 x 22 x 15mm. Software reflow control included with product. Serial numbered in software. Dongle label back-colour white or green depending on availability. Note that no end cap is supplied. Item checked as fully functional prior to dispatch. Item is packaged and shipped in a padded envelope.

Small packet of cool (or I should say hot)

This is much smaller than most of the other reflow controllers. I am a huge fan of the rocketscream offerings but needed a smaller portable for a small attic workspace. The software is simple, which translates to simple to use. Don't expect huge customizations, the software works, to get you a proper ramp up and down. The hardware works well. I did not push my luck to see what the maximum amp or duration the hardware would support, but it does the job.
The manual is complete, but you still need to understand what is going on during a soak cycle. Recommend this w/o hesitation for those starting out, especially considering how little it costs.
