Introducing the tiny series of boards from ProtoCentral, a family of small board with Sparkfun’s Qwiic or Adafruit’s STEMMA QT digital interface for easy connection to most microcontroller systems.

The Protocentral tinyADC breakout board is a 12-bit, Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) breakout board that can be used to accurately measure and convert analog voltages to digital values. TLA2024 has 12-bit resolution and can operate at a sample rate of 3.3 kSPS (thousands of samples per second) through an I2C interface. The board can be configured to work as either four single-end input channels or two differential channels, depending on the application. It has Qwiic / STEMMA QT compatible connectors for easy interfacing with a microcontroller system. You can even connect two of them on the same I2C bus with two addresses to make 4×2 = 8 channels !

It also has a wide input range, with the ability to accept input voltages from 0V to 5V. The ADC includes an on-board voltage reference and input buffer, which helps to improve the accuracy and stability of the conversion process. Additionally, the TLA202x has a low-power consumption and can operate from a single supply voltage, making it well-suited for use in portable and battery-powered devices.
