Saving you time.

This is a simple circuit board for your breadboards. Instead of bending resistors and picking random LEDs from a bag, just drop this into a few rows.

Defaults:

The "standard" that I most often use myself is five water-clear LEDs, red, yellow, green, blue, and white. It looks best mixing the resistor values such that red and yellow are 220, green is 270, and blue and white are 470.

About the PCB

So, first, the corners are rounded to protect your fingertips. I put some markers at the edges to make it little easier to align the pins and find ground from the opposite side. And of course, dimensions: it's 1.50" x 0.65", or about 38 x 17mm.

LED options

I tend to use water clear LEDs. They're bright enough to cast a shadow and burn your retina. I also have some diffused red, yellow, and green LEDs if you need an assembled board.

I really like this.

I sell these mainly because I like them. My surface mount LED board is about a hundred times more popular, but I still stock and sell this board because I personally like it, even as I reach for my SMD board when I'm breadboarding just because it's so small.
