What is it?

Pwnagotchi is a portable and covert wifi hacking station with a personality! It uses a Raspberry Pi Zero W running Kali to capture WPA and WEP wifi handshakes automatically, which can be cracked autonomously or manually with tools like hashcat allowing you to gain access to nearly any locked wifi network. It's based on bettercap, the Swiss Army knife for wifi hijacking, network recon, and MITM attacks, meaning it can double as an active hacking device whenever needed. The more handshakes it captures, the happier it gets, reacting with over 15 customizable faces. Growing with its built-in AI, Pwnagotchi learns to deauthenticate or disconnect clients from the wifi in order to capture handshakes, and it can even send association frames to an AP until it leaks the PKMID.

Why did you make it?

Building a Pwnagotchi involves the expertise of specific tools, and requires proficiency in 3D printing, soldering, Kali linux, raspberry pis, and general knowledge of how to configure and set up a Pwnagotchi. These can be taxing and time-consuming, which means not everyone will have the ability to create their own. The needed tools aren't common either, so a 3rd party is usually a necessity. On top of that, it can be difficult figuring out how to use hacking tools like these, so I've created these devices with the goal of making the process as easy and painless as possible. Plus, I am always open if support is needed!

What makes it special?

Pwnagotchis aren't always easy to make, but this comes preassembled and will require no more than a minute to get fully up and running! It comes with a 3D printed case, a screen, and a 16gb micro sd card, along with the Raspberry Pi Zero W it runs on. It can be customized to fit your needs and preferences, and each one is tested before shipping so you don't have to worry about a broken Pwnagotchi. It comes working out of the box, so you can buy with confidence. Also, it's a great way to learn about wifi pentesting!

Note: While the Pwnagotchi is configured & working out of the box, extracting handshakes and modifying settings will require basic ssh & command line knowledge. There are step-by-step instructions for this in the Pwnagotchi documentation, so don't worry if you are still learning or are new to the terminal. It only takes a few minutes to do & is very simple!
