Introduction

The QK-AT011 is designed to transmit AIS sentences wirelessly. It can be used as an AIS signal source to test Quark-elec AIS receiver and other brand AIS products. Its an ideal test equipments where there is no real AIS signals(e.g. in land or near beach but signal is weak)

It will send out theoretical vessels positions together with other AIS related information after powering up. The unit needs a 5V power supply and can be controlled using a PC USB interface. Once the unit has been programmed it can be disconnected from the PC to be used in situ. It is not allowed to use this unit at sea.
