What is it?

Illuminate your projects with this 30cm (red) LED glow strip, designed to emulate the radiant intensity of neon lights. They consist of numerous micro LED diodes fused onto an extremely flexible metal backing, subsequently encased in silicone for added safety and flexibility. This strip not only ensures consistent luminosity but also offers a vibrant and uniform glow that can transform any project. The glow is so bright and uniform that it appears to be a continuous rather than from discrete LEDs. This LED strip is perfect for decoration Raspberry Pi and Arduino cases, or making custom signs or mood lights.

To use it, connect it with 5V through a current limiting resistor and see the gorgeous glow right in front of your eyes (See demo video below). On the LED strip, the anode is the metal end with a small hole in it. The entire strip consumes around 450mA.

You can either purchase this LED strip alone OR purchase this with a optional PWM Module. This module has an IRLB8743 Power MOSFET in order to deliver enough power using PWM.

The module has three inputs:

• VIN: 5V
• PWM: Connect this pin to a PWM output of an MCU to control the brightness of the LED strip or create a "breathing glow" effect
• GND: Ground
