This board features an integrated genuine FTDI IC for USB programming and Arduino IDE support through ESP8266 cores. Programming / Flashing mode can be set by holding onto the onboard "Flash" button during power-up.
By toggling GPIO5 on the ESP-12F, you can effortlessly retract or extend the metal lock latch, securely locking and unlocking it. Watch the demo video below for a demonstration. In the demo, a smartphone is linked to the ESP-12F's web server. Toggling the lock is as simple as pressing a button within the web interface. The lock can also be powered through the USB connection.
Additionally, this board incorporates a voltage step-up regulator, which boosts the 5V USB input to the necessary 12V required for operating the lock mechanism.
