When getting a computer, installing OS and support software just for a MQTT broker running for just a few devices, becomes a long way, we can shorten it to 2 steps, connect (power and router) and power up.

A simple PI based pre installed system is ready and working as soon as connected. Linux based OS that runs from an SD card with minimum writing operations to maximize the card life. Simply connect, power, read the IP from the screen and start getting devices linked to it. Simple.

It may also be used as a development board. All scripts and documentation is available online. This includes a base image to download and burn onto the SD card, in case things don't go so well and it needs to be reset to default.

Natively supports MQTT RB Magic lights, MQTT RB Generic Device and plenty others.

Base system: Orange Pi zero - quad core 1.2GHz 512MBRAM Allwinner H3 0.96" LCD (Random colour white/blue/BlueYellow) Ethernet (and wifi in expert mode) 2GB SD card USB for radio expansion

(If you chose extras, there is also a 5V wall adapter EU plug, micro USB cable and ethernet cable)

OS: Dietpi Pre installed ssh server, python, mosquitto (unencrypted port 1883), start up files, SMB shared scripts folder and simple python command executer script for simple commands without SSH, etc...
