Raging Bits presents the Addressable LEDs Raging driver!

An interface that translates serial port/UART data to addressable LEDs arrays.

Addressable LEDs demand very tight communication timings that in most of the cases are not easy to achieve without adjusting the system to lower priority on everything else until the full array of LEDs data is sent. Many times this even turns to a constrain factor for the projects choice of platform.

Your system, your rules. This driver will allow you to have the data sent at the system pace. From 4,8Kbaud to 500Kbaud speeds. At full frame size and maximum baud rate, is capable of least a 20Hz refresh rates. (Or... none, there isn't really a need to keep data refreshed.)

Very Simple interface.

LED type independent. Whaaa?.. YES!! Even if you never seen it, you can have multiple types of LEDs with different data setup lengths interleaved in the same array. As long as all have the regular latched communications. (Like WS28s and SK68s, being one RGB and the other RGBW, you can mix 'n' match up as you want. Did we mention "Your system, your rules!" ? We meant it.)

Fully synchronized communications with near zero frame error delay. In case of data errors, it uses padding to move on.

It supports up to 900 bytes buffer. From a single byte (Why not?!) to 900 bytes. ( 900 = 300 RGB LEDS or 225 RGBW for example).
