What is it?

It's an adapter that mounts onto the screw connectors of common DC electronic loads (e.g. BK precision 85xx, Itech 85xx, Maynuo M97xx/M98xx etc.), and exposes common 4mm female banana sockets that extend out towards the side of the adapter.

Why did you make it?

DC loads are notoriously annoying due to always having to scramble to find hacky ways to connect test cables to them! I built it for myself first but I'm sure others would benefit.

What makes it special?

DC Electronic load connectors (i.e. the large screw post terminals) are truly annoying and it's hard to find a good solution that is not a dangling banana connector cable, a board that extends past the instrument outline, long floppy banana terminals sticking out etc. This solution is completely self-contained, connectors are soldered on, with high current-carrying capacity, and exit on the side of the board, for clean cable routing, and without interference for neighbouring test equipment. Uses high-quality Deltron connectors.
