What is it?

This tool is easily used to make biodegradable pots from old newspapers! Perfect for starting seeds, these small pots can be placed directly into the ground when it's time to move the plants outside.

Why did you make it?

I saw some tools designed to make newspaper pots, but all of the choices I saw were either difficult to print without supports, unable to be modified, or non-commercial. I wanted something a little different, so I designed an easy-to-print parametric tool and released it under the MIT License. Now, anyone can make their own--and if they don't have access to a 3D printer (or friend with one), they can get one here, from the guy who designed it!

What makes it special?

This design is special because it requires no supports and is parametric. It can be easily scaled for smaller pots, larger pots, and different sized hand-grips (so it's friendly for children and the elderly). The ones I sell here are set up for 40mm in diameter, perfect for starting most seeds.
