What is it?

The RJ45 adapter allows you to make connections with up to 8 wires by using RJ45 connectors and standard Ethernet cables.

Why did you make it?

The RJ45 adapter was something I needed for a project. I've found other boards that were similar but lacked the mounting holes I needed. This version has 4 mounting holes in the corners of the board that are suitable for 3mm bolts or #4 screws. It can have header pins soldered on for use on a breadboard or another PCB, or you can easily solder on wires or screw terminals.

What is included?

There are three options when ordering:

PCB Only (No RJ45 Jack is included.)
PCB + RJ45 Jack Kit (Board and RJ45 Jack, you solder them together.)
PCB + RJ45 Jack Assembled (Board ready to go, with RJ45 Jack soldered in place.)

No mounting hardware is included.
