What is it?

These are neat 5x5cm double sided SMD prototyping boards. They are arrays of pads with 1.27mm pitch so that 0603, sot23 and soic components can all easily be mounted. There are two central rows of pads for fitting soic components, these are connected with vias to the opposite side of the board for easy connections to power and gnd rails which run as vertical tracks. Great for knocking up a quick prototype or board mod.

Why did you make it?

I work exclusively with SMD parts and I've been frustrated by the price and difficulty of getting good small prototyping boards, so I decided to make my own. I find these little guys really useful when I want to knock something up. They are great to use in combination with roadrunner wire pencil.
