This is a Nixie bargraph clock kit. In this kit you'll receive a fully assembled PCB and tested IN-9 nixie bargraph tubes (optional, you can provide your own). All you need to do is mount this clock kit and you've got yourself a unique Nixie clock!

The kit uses two IN-9 nixie tubes to display the time, with one tube height signifying hours and the other minutes. You simply need to add a 12v >1A power supply with 2.1mm jack and the board will turn on. This can be attached to anything, driftwood, antique clock movement, directly to the wall, laser cut acrylic case, cigar box... anything to make into a unique and striking clock. As can be seen I have attached one to an antique clock movement and another to a piece of Oak. I also offer the option to include a protective clear acrylic case along with the clock.

There are three buttons on the board, these allow the time to be set but also to calibrate the clocks tubes. So all you need to do is draw on your hours and minutes scales, calibrate the tubes to your scale and voila!

Additionally, since Nixie tubes have a finite lifespan the tubes will power off during the night between 1 and 7am. This both saves power as well as prolongs the tubes lifespan. Should they need replacing this is easily done using the screw terminals.

Should the clock need to be unplugged from the wall there is a coin cell attached to the back of the board to retain the time when not powered.
