What makes it special?
Russell can be powered by either the SAO port, the CR2032 coin cell battery or the Micro USB port.
Plugging the badge into the a usb port on your computer will present a mass storage device that contains the circuitpython code.py file that you can modify and hack as you wish.
With two GPIO pins you can write custom code to extend the capabilities of Russell! Below is an example of Russell connected to a PIR motion sensor and an Adafruit NeoPixel Ring to provide motion alerts.
