This is a controller / joystick replacement for retro computers that uses a arduino pro micro and mechanical keyboard switches for input wich some people are more used to then a classic joystick.

The buttons are LED backlit Gateron Blue switches, the backlight can be turned off with a jumper.

Using a Ardunino with a USB port also means that you can connect this up and use it as a PC joystick.

To activate the USB interface and the backlight you need to hold down left and right buttons at startup, otherwise it will function only as a DB9 controllers for retro computers.

IMPORTANT!! Never connect both USB and DB9 at the same time! Always make sure the jumpers are set correctly for your specific machine, it will be pre-configured for C64 at delivery. If you set it incorrectly you might damage your machine, always double check the jumpers after you change them!

Except for C64 and PC the following computers are compatible either directly with jumpers or with an adapter: CPC464, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Commodore 64, Commodore 64GS, VIC-20, Amiga, MSX, NES, Master system, Mega Drive, ZX Spectrum *Requires adapter

1Pcs of 25cm cable is included, the DB9 end of it might be hard to fit in some computers with recessed ports without modification, but on C64 it fits fine.

Will be delivered with red keycaps if not specified. Transparent White and Transparent Black are also available at request.
