Assembly Manual | Compatible Motherboards

Overview

This custom components kit provides 3D printed parts, circuit boards, wire harnesses, and hardware for installation of an Asus PN-series or Intel NUC motherboard in a Nintendo 64 shell.

Included in Kit

Motherboard mount with shield for rear I/O access
Controller port board with reset switch (Intel NUC7 only), power switch, and power LED
Controller adapter board with two 2-port USB adapters for N64 controllers
A/V port and cartridge slot covers
Reset switch spacer (Asus PN51 only)
USB port adapter (Asus PN51 only)
Wire harnesses and installation hardware

IMPORTANT: This kit does NOT include any computer-specific parts. Those are left for the end user to spec-out and build. This kit only provides the means to adapt the supported motherboards to the console's case. It is recommended to first acquire one of the supported motherboards and test it for satisfactory performance before purchasing this kit.

Parts/Tools Not Included

N64 top/bottom shells - only "charcoal" color kits are offered currently. It is highly recommended to use a third party replacement N64 shell for this project, as to not compromise already functioning original hardware
PC components (Mini PC, memory, storage, wireless module/antennas, power supply)
4.5mm Security bit driver
Phillips head screwdriver (No. 0 or 1)
Needle-nose pliers
