Overview

The Prusa MINI's power supply suffers from voltage fluctuations as the heating elements cycle on and off, which makes LED light bars flicker when powered from the printer's supply. This dimmer circuit fixes that issue and fully integrates the LED light bar onto the printer, eliminating the need for a wall adapter. Simply adjust the potentiometer until the annoying flickering disappears!

Parts Included:

• LED Dimmer board
• Housing printed in Silver PLA
• JST 20cm Harness w/ 26 AWG pigtails (x2)
• M3 x 8mm screws (x2)

Tools Required:

• Phillips-head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Crimp connectors OR soldering iron and heat shrink tubing

Installation:

1. Unplug the printer and remove the control board access cover
2. Connect the red/black harness to +24V and GND respectively on the printer
3. Connect the yellow/black harness to the positive and negative wires respectively on the LED light bar
4. Take the board and plug the red/black harness into the +24V/GND socket, and the yellow/black harness into the OUT/GND socket
5. Assemble the housing using a Phillips head screwdriver
