What is it?

An audio recorder.

Like many people I do videos, but audio on the camera is not ideal, so I used to use a shirt mic and expensive audio recorder.

This audio recorder is way better, it is designed to be a self contained, small, very high quality, stereo, shirt mic.

Records to SD card, and can be configured to upload using supplied open source software. The ESP32-S3 has Bluetooth so I may do code for bluetooth microphone some day, or you can make your own code, it is a development board. Pull requested welcome on GitHub.

Battery and USB lead not included.

• ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N4-R2 (Dual core, 4MB Flash, 2MB SPI RAM)
• Four WS2812 LEDs for status, one each side of button
• Micro SD card slot fully wired for 4 bit working
• LiPo charge circuit
• USB-C for charging and programming
• Hook design as shirt clip (button or top if t-shirt)

Why did you make it?

To produce high quality audio on my YouTube videos - I am very pleased with it.

What makes it special?

It is compact, built in battery charger, WiFi, and the TDK microphones are excellent quality.

It "just works"!
