This camera module was developed to provide users with an easy and efficient way to integrate high-quality video capabilities into their Raspberry Pi projects. We aimed to create a solution that combines compact size, compatibility, and high performance, making it ideal for users who need a reliable camera for their innovative applications.

What makes it special?

The 5MP Camera Module stands out for its impressive image quality and versatility. It delivers sharp, clear images at a resolution of 500,000 pixels, ensuring that every detail is captured. Its small form factor allows for easy installation in tight spaces, making it suitable for projects where space is limited. Additionally, the 15cm cable provides flexibility for positioning the camera as needed.

First, ensure that your Raspberry Pi is running a recent version of the system and that the camera feature is enabled. Enter the command: sudo raspi-config, and select the fifth option for the camera feature. See the image below:

Then select: Enable.

The system will return to the interface automatically. Select Finish in the bottom right corner to reboot.

After rebooting the Raspberry Pi, you can start using the Raspberry Pi Camera. To take a photo, run the following command from the terminal:raspistill -t 2000 -o 1.jpg

-t: This specifies the delay before taking the picture, with 5000 being five seconds.

-o 1.jpg: This sets the output filename to 1.jpg.
