What is it?

PaperiNode is a TheThingsNetwork(TTN)-connected 1.1” E-Paper Node which harvests light and is thus energy-autark. It comes along pre-programmed with a running weather demo. You can develop further that program or realize your own ideas within the Arduino universe.

Why did you make it?

To find out and prove that its possible to run a selfpowered display-(not only sensor-)device as efficiently as possible. I like the idea of realizing a sustaining and batteryfree, connected e-paper thing.

What makes it special?

Its focus on low power as well as its thin & lightweight design.

Well done product, nice hardware and choice of components.

Nice, small and compact for a LoRa product. Almost a watch size :-)
Never tried the original application. In consequence I cannot judge its original functionality.
Making a new application for Paperinode.
Good for a Paper display testing and practice.
The programmer attach is delicate due to the design and the amazing material and not really adapted for a new development, which requires manipulation.
No real documentation, no forum, but a nice link with the developer, thank you.
LoRa communication as far as I used to is excellent.
