What is it?

This PCB Ornament Houses 12 SMD LEDs (1206) configured to blink in pairs, using BC547 transistors. The whole PCB is powered just by a regular CR2032 cell, All in a tiny circular PCB with a diameter of 4.4cm. Perfect to decorate Christmas trees!

Why did you make it?

This project was Part of NextPCB Christmas Competition, and won the third prize. Aim was to create an Artistic PCB with great functionality that is suitable for Christmas

What makes it special?

The art on this PCB is of a snowflake, when turned on this snowflake is illuminated with 12 LEDs blinking asynchronously, Making it a mesmerizing view to watch. Since the delay of this blink is dependent on the resistors used, it is pretty easy to configure it as per your need by replacing the resistors with your desired values.
