What is it?

Robbus Kidsy is a mobile robotic platform based on the popular ESP32 microcontroller, with Wifi, Bluetooth, 32 bits, 240MHz and a lot of memory. Its main characteristic is its color sensor under the PCB to see the colors below and its 4 capacitive touch arrows (Forward, Backward, Left and Right). Robbus Kidsy has 3 different games ready to play:

Kidsy Says: Kidsy will move ramdomly one direction at the time, and you will must to remember each and press the capacitive arrows correctly, like simon says, but with a twist! (literally speaking) due to the turns kidsy will do.

Lead Kidsy: You can save until 99 different directions in its memory by pressing the arrows, and Kidsy will play one by one. Make a circuit and do Kidsy to dodge the obstacles.

Kidsy Kart: With the help of your phone, you will can drive Kidsy through bluetooth, and its color sensor will see the colors like power ups or obstacles. The Yellow will give you speed, green will slow down, like if you were over grass, magenta will flat your tires, blue will almost stops you like you were in water, and so on. With the stickers included, you can make a circuit to challenge your friends!

Why did you make it?

Robbus Kidsy was born as an Implementation of several technologies I has been using by the years, having in mind the educational and fun factor of robotics.

What makes it special?

Thank to its color sensor, Robbus can see and react according the color that is in their way. Its ESP32 is a well documented and tested microcontroller that let you widely experiment with it.
