Watchdog Timers are required to watch over MC controlled systems and perform a system reset when the MC gets hung. Use for critical or remote applications, where operator cannot always go and perform a manual reset.

Ideal for IoT applications which require long watch intervals! Apps like, for example Blynk, do require far longer delays than internal WDTs can handle (typically max. 2-8 seconds), while establishing a Wifi and server connection, etc.

Timing till Reset: 35-40 seconds in this setup | Supply Voltage: 5V | Requires: 1 GPIO Pin from Micro Controller to send "Alive Pulse" | Pulse lenght: ~50 ms | Pulse Frequency: at least 1 pulse every 5s under normal operation|
