Some of you asked for a 900mhz module, well here it is.
The range of this module is.. well terrifying.
During my incredibly "scientific" testing I was literally ringing my door bell from the end of my street and my door bell receiver is located in the middle of a double brick house, the door bell receiver has notoriously bad range also.
How does it compare to an OG eByte module? Much better range, I gained about 10 meters (35 feet) of range during my "scientific" testing.. doesn't sound like a lot right, but keep in mind line of sight was extremely obstructed. If it was a clear line, I'm very confident the range difference would have been much greater. I'm talking 10 double brick houses between the receiver and transmitter here.
The module shares the same footprint as the OG eByte module.
Do yourself a favor and purchase either a tuned 433/900mhz SMA antenna to go along with this module. 👌
Frequency range
900 variant: 855-925 MHz
433 variant: 431-446.5 MHz
The modules will work on frequencies outside of these ranges, but for the best performance use within the specified frequency ranges.
