What is it?

This raspberry hat plugs directly into the raspberry pi gpio header.

It provides an lcd display, and 5 button keypad. raspberry pi not included.

It uses pins 11-24 of the raspberry gpio header and is compatible with pypilot

Notice the orientation and position of the lcd in this model B. Model A has the display rotated by 90 degrees but is otherwise equivalent. Most 5 key membrane keypads can plug directly into this hat.

If you are planning to use custom software, take note that this lcd uses the hardware spi pins of the raspberry pi, but the pins used are slightly different from the adafruit lcd example default pins, see nokia5110lcd.py

I needed a simple and effective user interface for pypilot.

This hat is compatible with my mpu9255 hat
