What is it?

Battery cutoff protection, compatible with any type of battery with a rated voltage from 3.6V (1S) to 22.2V (6S). This voltage is most suitable for Lead-acid and LiFePo4 batteries (other voltages available on demand, with instructions provided for further customization).

Why did you make it?

I created this because I needed lightweight battery protection with a small footprint and high current throughput, capable of being integrated into 3D-printed adapters for standard power tool batteries.

What makes it special?

It features built-in hysteresis, a small footprint, and lightweight design, while still being able to support high power draws.

Battery cutoff and reconnect voltages can be adjusted by replacing a maximum of three 0603 resistors (default is for 5S; specify during checkout for different cutoff voltage setpoints).

Note: This is not a BMS but an under-voltage cutoff to protect packs with an integrated or external BMS without cutoff protection. It includes a TVS diode on the output to limit inrush currents from inductive loads. !!! It does not offer over-voltage, over-current, or over-temperature protection !!!

While the integrated diode allows for a charge current of 20A, always use a designated charger suitable for the battery configuration and chemistry. Follow all lithium battery charging safety guidelines:

Never leave a charging battery unattended.
Always ensure the battery is on a non-flammable surface.
Use a fire-resistant bag, ensuring the flap is sealed during charging.
